Jung Market

Jung Market is a long-running country market held at the Jung Recreation Reserve beside Yarriambiack Creek. The market attracts stallholders from across the Wimmera as well as further afield and is one of the larger regular markets in the region.

The market has a wide variety of stalls selling local produce, homemade cakes and pastries, plants and nursery items, arts and crafts, clothing, footwear, bric-a-brac, preserves, toys, pet and livestock supplies and other goods. Food stalls can include a barbecue, hot jam doughnuts and fairy floss.

There are often activities for children, which have included a jumping castle, merry-go-round and train rides, making the market a good family stop when travelling through the Wimmera.

The Jung Market began in 1990 with 34 traders and has developed into a well-established community market.
