Japanese Mountain Retreat Mineral Springs & Spa is a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges at Montrose, approximately 40 km east of Melbourne.
Set on a beautifully landscaped five-acre property, the resort offers a romantic Japanese-inspired escape with private mineral bathing, day spa treatments, fine dining and luxury accommodation.
The mineral water is sourced from approximately 80 metres underground and heated for bathing. Couples can enjoy the privacy of their own outdoor Japanese cedar hot tub or natural-style rock pool surrounded by secluded gardens.
Unlike larger public hot springs destinations, all bathing experiences are completely private and reserved for one couple at a time.
