James Wyman Place Playground, Hampton Park
The area has a lot of potential with a large area away from roads but it is badly let down by old and poorly maintained equipment. The main structure has a nice big slide, fireman's pole, walkway, ladders, chain bridge and flying fox. Also single swing without a safety chain, normal springer and four person springer. There is a wooden sculpture which looks like a fertility symbol from a Pacific Island, rotunda with seats, unshaded tables and seats and a good sized basketball court which some-one has slam-dunked a shopping trolley into. There is an area with goal and point posts.
