Heidelberg Golf Bowling Club (Lower Plenty)

Bowls membership a the Heidelberg Golf Club provides opportunities to join a pennant team or just play for fun!

The Club offers lawn bowls for all levels of skill the opportunity to join a great club, with excellent facilities and a friendly atmosphere. There are no strangers at our bowling club, just friends you haven't met yet.

Social Bowls

Social Bowls runs Thursdays all year round & Saturdays during pennant off season. Games typically start at 12:30 however start times may be shifted due to extreme weather conditions for example, the game start time could be moved forward to avoid playing in the hottest part of the day during summer.

Public players are welcome however they are limited to 5 games per year and then are encouraged to pay the membership fee.

How much does it cost? Green fees are $8 for the day.

Barefoot Bowls

(Daylight Savings Season)
Barefoot bowls evenings operate every Friday night from 6.00pm starting in October every year until the daylight savings summer season ends in April. Bowls are provided and coaching is available for those who need it.

How much does it cost?
The cost for members of the public is only $10 per person. Bookings can be made online via the website or through the office on (03) 9433 5300.

Children are welcome as long as they are well supervised, and there is plenty of room for prams and strollers.

Cost:

Lawn bowls is not an expensive sport. Practice is free and organised Social bowls and Pennant are only $5 per game. With Bowls Membership from just $107 why not join the Heidelberg family. We will even lend you a set of bowls to get you started. Casual clothes are fine and you can even play in bare-feet until you have a pair of flat soled shoes. When you want a club uniform, you will find all bowls clothing items are inexpensive.
