Granya Falls

Located in the Mount Granya State Park, visit this seasonally-flowing waterfall via a short walk (1.4km return) along the Mount Granya Walking Track from Cottontree Creek visitor area. The walk begins along a smooth, broad dirt track that progressively narrows and gets rockier as you move up the gully.
Granya Falls spill into a rocky gully at the bottom of a mountain. The falls are best visited in winter and spring to guarantee a water flow. Spring also sees diverse wildflower displays.
On the way to the falls is an interesting Scout Hut made of logs dating from 1937. It was constructed by the Granya Scout Group.
Cotton Tree campground offers information signage, free camping, a picnic table, fire pit and long drop toilet.
