Gowanbrae Community Garden (Gowanbrae)

The garden is a place where the community can grow productive and ornamental plants as well as meet, share, connect and learn about food and gardening together.
The Garden was launched in September 2019, and is run by a volunteer group of local residents including members of the Gowanbrae Residents Group with support from the Gowanbrae Childrens' Centre.
Operating entirely communally, the garden features a series of raised wicking beds for vegetables and herbs, together with a range of fruit trees and other culinary plants.
There are eight planter boxes, two tables and seats with great views from the top of the hill.
