Gippsland Water Sports
Gippsland Water Sports provides coached wakeboarding, water skiing, kneeboarding and tubing sessions at locations around the Gippsland Lakes and Lake Glenmaggie. Sessions cater for beginners and experienced riders, with equipment available and live coaching communication used while participants are on the water.
Gippsland Water Sports offers wakeboarding, water skiing, kneeboarding and tubing sessions at several locations across the Gippsland Lakes and Lake Glenmaggie.
Sessions are tailored to suit beginners trying a towed water sport for the first time, as well as experienced riders wanting to improve their technique. Private and group sessions can be arranged, with one-hour, two-hour and longer sessions available depending on the location and booking arrangements.
Participants meet the coach at the selected location and are fitted with the equipment required for their activity. Riders may also bring their own suitable equipment. During the session, the coach focuses on technique, helping participants make the most of their time on the water while keeping the experience enjoyable.
Gippsland Water Sports uses BB Talking communication technology, allowing riders to receive live instructions and feedback from the coach while they are behind the boat.
Age Restrictions:
Children must be at least six years old and accompanied by an adult.
Safety:
A zero blood-alcohol limit applies to all participants, including anyone acting as an observer or spotter. Participants must not be under the influence of drugs, and alcohol cannot be consumed while taking part in an activity.
Smoking is not permitted aboard or within five metres of the vessel. Participants must follow the directions of the boat operator and complete an indemnity form before taking part.
Sessions may be postponed or relocated because of strong winds, storms or other unsuitable water and weather conditions.

Gippsland Water Sports operates at selected locations around Paynesville, Newlands Arm, Lakes Entrance, Lake Tyers and Lake Glenmaggie. The exact meeting and launching location is selected or confirmed when booking.
