Geelong Ballooning

Geelong Ballooning offers sunrise hot air balloon flights over Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula.

Flights provide changing aerial views depending on the morning's wind direction, with possible views across Geelong, Port Phillip Bay, the Bellarine Peninsula, Southern Ocean, Melbourne skyline and towards the Great Ocean Road.

The balloon flight lasts approximately one hour, with 3-5 hours recommended for the complete experience. Passengers meet about one hour before sunrise at the Novotel Geelong and are transported to the launch site selected for that day's conditions. Transfers between the meeting point, launch site and landing site are included.

Passengers can choose a public group flight or arrange an exclusive private flight for couples, families, celebrations, proposals, weddings and groups. Private Geelong flights can cater for groups of up to 24 people.

An optional post-flight gourmet buffet breakfast is available at Tempo Kitchen & Bar at Novotel Geelong, including a glass of local sparkling wine for adults. Complimentary in-flight photographs are also provided on most flights at the pilot's discretion.

The minimum age is six years. Ballooning is weather dependent and the pilot may postpone a flight when conditions are unsuitable.
