Geelong Archers (Waurn Ponds & Lovely Banks)

Geelong Archers (Waurn Ponds & Lovely Banks)

Geelong Archers was established in May 1960. This makes us the oldest continually operating archery club in Geelong and one of the oldest in Victoria. Our members shoot a variety of different bows including Compound, Recurve, Horse bow and Longbow and shoot both with and without sights depending on their own personal shooting preference.

We have two outdoor target ranges and a picturesque 24 target field course. The club is based at these two locations:

Abe Wood Reserve (Target and Clout Range)
70 Edgerton Road, Lovely Banks, 3213

Jarvis Oval (Target Range and Field Course)
Deakin University Waurn Ponds Campus, Waurn Ponds, 3216

Geelong Archers (Waurn Ponds & Lovely Banks)

Geelong Archers has trained and official archery instructors who will help you in the beginners courses, as well as assist in improving your archery.

The monthly club championship is a great way to improve your archery skills and get ready for competing in a tournament setting. Scores go towards deciding the club champion at the end of the year
