Gasworks Farmers Market (Albert Park)
An authentic Victorian Farmers' Market Association (VFMA) accredited farmers' market running every Saturday at the Coburg Primary School.
Access to the freshest produce and goods, direct from the Victorians who grew and made them.
Gasworks Farmers Market started in January 2006 and is set within the diverse Gasworks Arts Park precinct inside the remaining walls of the South Melbourne gas production plant. The parklands are surrounded by artists' studios, theatres, galleries, cafe and workshops, all of which are in constant use. The Gasworks Resident Artist Studios are also open during the Farmers Market, so make sure you pop in and say hello! Visit to the Gasworks BBQ to be directed to the locations of these artists studios within the park grounds.
The market is plastic bag free, please BYO reusable bags and coffee cup.
Opening Hours:
3rd Saturday of each month 8am-1pm.
Cost:
Free entry.
Access for Dogs:
Sociable dogs under control and on short leads are most welcome.
