Frankston Coastal Arts Discovery Trail
The Frankston Coastal Arts Discovery Trail combines art, history and stunning waterfront scenery into an enjoyable self-guided walk or cycle along the Frankston foreshore. Stretching from Olivers Hill to Seaford Foreshore, the trail showcases a fascinating collection of contemporary sculptures, public artworks and architectural features inspired by the region's rich coastal and cultural heritage.
Suitable for all ages, the trail follows shared paths beside Port Phillip Bay, making it easy to complete on foot or by bicycle. Along the way you'll enjoy beautiful beaches, boardwalks, parks, piers and panoramic bay views while discovering artworks that celebrate Frankston's maritime history, Indigenous heritage and connection to the sea. Highlights include Nan's Desk, Sight Line at Frankston Pier, Lost and Found, and several other installations dotted along the coastline.

Facilities
The trail passes numerous public facilities including toilets, picnic areas, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants, drinking fountains and beach access points. Parking is available at several locations along the foreshore, with Frankston Railway Station providing convenient public transport access.
Getting There
A popular starting point is the Frankston Waterfront Visitor Information Centre near Frankston Pier. The trail can also be joined from Olivers Hill, Kananook Creek, Long Island or Seaford Foreshore, allowing walkers to complete as much or as little of the route as they wish.
Tips

- Allow extra time to stop and appreciate each artwork.
- Bring a camera, as there are excellent photo opportunities along the waterfront.
- Early morning and late afternoon provide beautiful lighting over Port Phillip Bay.
- Combine the walk with lunch or coffee at one of Frankston's waterfront cafés.
