Eldorado - Top Cut Lake
Top Cut is a tranquil, historic mining dredge hole which has been transformed into a popular local swimming spot and recreation area. Kayaking and fishing (redfin/perch) are popular activities on the lake. The area is best suited to experienced swimmers.
It has deep, cold water which is surrounded by large gum trees and has a sandy foreshore suitable for picnics, especially during warmer months.
Top Cut is accessed off Woolshed Road, about 1km south of the town. Turn left at the sign "Transfer Station" and then veer to the right along a gravel road to the northern end of the lake where there are is a parking area and two gravel beaches.

Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted and can swim here.
