There are picnic spots scattered around central Echuca, particularly around the historic Port of Echuca and along the Murray and Campaspe Rivers.
Victoria Park
Victoria Park is a large riverside reserve north of the Port of Echuca. The picnic map identifies picnic tables and a picnic spot within the reserve. Walking tracks extend through the surrounding riverine bushland.

Riverboat Dock
Set beside the Murray River, Riverboat Dock has picnic tables, a park bench and a designated picnic spot. It is a great place to sit beside the river and watch the river activity.
While you're here, look for the unusual Echuca Thong Tree, which is located at Riverboat Dock.

Aquatic Reserve is one of Echuca's most attractive picnic areas, with grassy space beside a billabong, towering river red gums and plenty of birdlife. Picnic tables and a designated picnic area are provided, with toilets nearby and walking tracks passing through the reserve.
The reserve is also the location of the Echuca Farmers Market.
