Dimboola Imaginarium

Dimboola Imaginarium

Dimboola Imaginarium is a quirky and colourful attraction, gift shop and boutique accommodation housed within Dimboola's historic former National Bank of Australasia building.

Built in 1909, the impressive two-storey redbrick building retains much of its original character and Renaissance-style architecture. The former banking chamber has been transformed into an imaginative space filled with an eclectic collection of art, curios, collectables, books, toys, plants, homewares and unusual gifts.

The Imaginarium is designed to be explored, with surprises around almost every corner. Features include the old bank vault, displays relating to the history of the building, quirky installations and a huge 3.7 metre tall giraffe standing inside the former banking chamber.

There are plenty of things to interest children as well as adults, with unusual toys, displays and imaginative spaces adding to the experience.

The building itself is also part of the attraction. The National Bank of Australasia occupied the site for more than a century, and visitors can see architectural features remaining from its banking days.

Dimboola Imaginarium also offers boutique accommodation in the former bank manager's residence upstairs.
