Darlington - Nuggets Flat

Nuggets Flat is a peaceful picnic area beside Mount Emu Creek in the small Western District township of Darlington.
The reserve occupies the historic river-crossing area and provides an attractive place to stop beside the creek, enjoy a picnic and explore this quiet section of Darlington.
Mount Emu Creek winds past the reserve and provides habitat for birds and other wildlife. The creek is also known as platypus habitat, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Nuggets Flat is used regularly by the Darlington community for barbecues and gatherings.

Access for Dogs:
Dogs are allowed but must be kept under effective control. Keep dogs on a leash where signs require it.
