Corinella Beach Dog Off Leash Area (Corinella)

Dogs are permitted off-lead at all times on the 800m stretch of beach between the point 90 metres south of the Beach Street access stairway, south east to O'Connor Road ending before the access to the beach.

Note: At all other beaches in Corinella, dogs are permitted on-lead at all times

A set of stairs leads down to the beach from near the end of Beach Street. Turn left at the beach and after 90m the dog off-leash beach area starts. The cliff face is quite susceptible to rockfalls so make sure you keep more than 5m back from the cliff face. The beach was covered in seaweed when we visited and it looks like access might be cut off at high tide. As you go further along the beach there is less seaweed and the beach is covered in shells rather than seaweed (which is a nice change for those who admire sea-shells rather than seaweed).

After 150m, there's another staircase back to the top of the cliff which is near Cuthbert Street where there is a bin.

The dog off leash area continues to just north of O'Connor Road. At this point a staircase leads up to a carpark with a grassy area with a table. There is no bin here.
