Coleraine Historical Society
Located in Coleraine’s Old Courthouse, the Coleraine Historical Society collects and preserves historical information, documents and photographs relating to Coleraine and the surrounding district.
The society was formed on 26 April 1956 following growing community interest in preserving the district’s history. Its collection provides an opportunity to learn about Coleraine’s people, families, buildings, businesses and development. The material will be of particular interest to families researching local or family history and older children studying the district.
The society’s volunteers can assist with enquiries about Coleraine and district history. Contact the society before travelling if you require access to particular records or research assistance.

Opening Hours:
Wednesday: 9am–12 noon
