Cohuna Island Road Walk

The 7.47km return Cohuna Island Road Walk follows the scenic wetlands and Gunbower Creek from Apex Park towards Gunbower Forest. Gannawarra Tourism continues to promote the Cohuna Island Road Walk as one of the region's walking trails.
The out and back walk takes approximately two hours and is rated intermediate. Starting at Apex Park, follow Cohuna Island Road past the Cohuna Waterfront Holiday Park and continue beside the wetland to the toilet block/rest area. Turn around here and return to Apex Park by the same route.
There are wetland views for much of the walk, with Gunbower Forest reached towards the far end. Points of interest and facilities along the route include Cohuna Beach, Apex Park, the playground, skate park, Gunbower Creek, seating and public toilets.
