Churchill - Mathison Park Disc Golf Course
Mathison Park has a free 18-hole disc golf course winding through the undulating parkland surrounding Lake Hyland. The course combines open fairways, established trees and changes in elevation to provide challenges for beginners and experienced players.
The course has concrete tee pads, marked baskets and directional arrows showing the route to the next tee. The first hole is near Mathison Park Playground. A shorter nine-hole loop can be used by visitors who do not want to complete the full course.
Visitors can bring their own discs or borrow discs free of charge from Latrobe Leisure Churchill during its opening hours. Identification and completion of a hire form may be required.
Mathison Park also has a playground, barbecue and picnic areas, shelters, toilets and walking paths around Lake Hyland.
