Chiltern - Antechinus Walking Path
The Chiltern Antechinus Walking Path follows waterways and reserves through Chiltern, passing Lake Anderson, Black Ball Dam and several historic and recreational sites. The trail markers feature a Yellow-footed Antechinus, a small native marsupial locally known as the golden mouse.
The walk starts at the fountain in Martin Park beside Lake Anderson and finishes at the playground on High Street. Walkers can return to the starting point via High Street and Main Street to form a circuit.
Birdlife is particularly abundant around Lake Anderson and Black Ball Dam.
