Carisbrook - Maryborough Harness Racing Club

Maryborough Harness Racing Club is one of Victoria's leading country harness racing clubs, based at Carisbrook Raceway near Maryborough.

The club has a long association with harness racing in the Central Goldfields and hosts regular race meetings and trials throughout the year. The attractive racecourse is known for its well-maintained grounds and 1000 metre track.

Race days provide an opportunity to experience harness racing at close range. Visitors can watch the horses and drivers compete from trackside, while comfortable facilities are available for spectators.

The track has a 224 metre home straight and hosts races over distances ranging from 1690 metres to 3190 metres.

Group bookings are welcome and the club can cater for groups and clubs of different sizes. Staff and volunteers can assist visitors who have not previously attended a harness racing meeting.

Maryborough Harness Racing Club is particularly well known for its Redwood All Trotting Carnival, which showcases trotting races and is one of the club's major annual racing occasions.
