Cape Bridgewater - Bridgewater Lakes

Bridgewater Lakes> are freshwater lakes surrounded by coastal dunes and vegetation within Discovery Bay Coastal Park. This peaceful location is popular with families for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking and water-skiing.
The lakes are reached by a scenic drive along Bridgewater Lakes Road from Cape Bridgewater. Public toilets and parking are available at the day visitor area.

Safety:
The lakes are unpatrolled and contain shallow areas. Closely supervise children around the water and use an appropriate personal flotation device when canoeing, kayaking or boating.
Check weather, water conditions, boating zones and park alerts before visiting. Do not enter water affected by discolouration, algal blooms or warning signs.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted at the Bridgewater Lakes Day Visitor Area.
