Camperdown - The Courthouse Visitor Information Centre

The Courthouse Camperdown is the official visitor information centre for Camperdown and the surrounding Corangamite Shire. Housed in the beautifully restored former Camperdown Courthouse, this historic building combines local tourism services with an art gallery, gift shop and community exhibition space.
Friendly volunteers provide maps, brochures and expert local advice to help visitors explore Camperdown and the wider region. Whether you're looking for scenic drives, volcanic lakes, heritage attractions, walking trails or Great Ocean Road destinations, the team can recommend places to visit and help plan your itinerary.
Inside, you'll find rotating exhibitions showcasing the work of local artists and craftspeople, along with a retail space featuring locally made gifts, artwork, books and souvenirs. The historic courthouse itself is worth exploring, offering visitors a glimpse into Camperdown's nineteenth-century civic history while serving as a vibrant community hub today.
