Bruthen - Ramrod Swimming Hole
A swimming hole in the Tambo River which has beaches of coarse sand and pebbles, areas of shallow water and also the main faster flowing part of the river.
Evans Track has a bridge across the river and there is a deep hole about 100m downstream of the bridge.
How to Get There
From Bruthen, travel north along the Great Alpine Road for 6km. Do a sharp right onto Evans Track (not signposted) and take the track for 150m down to the bridge where there is parking. 4WD vehicles are able to drive onto the river beach.
