Briagolong Historical Town Walk

Discover the past on a heritage walk through this quaint town.
Each building has an information board retelling the story of the vital role it played in the town's history. Pass by the still operating Briagolong Mechanics' Institute, standing since 1874. Other points of interest now delight visitors as shops and cafes. Yet they maintain the exterior that were constructed from the red gum timber cut at the nearby William Forbes Victoria Saw Mills.
To spot all 18 points of interest, simply walk from St Patrick's down Avon Street and along Forbes Street and Cahill Street.
