Bolwarrah - Spa Country Sunflowers

Spa Country Sunflowers is part of a sustainable vegetable production operation located between Daylesford and Ballan, about 1 hour west of Melbourne.

The mixed species cover crop is open to the public every February and March where the field of sunflowers interplanted with sorghum comes to life in a sea of green and gold. The crop is sown as a living jungle, a bit of a maze and people are blown away in a little piece of paradise with an amazing photo-picnic-picking experience.

Visitors also love the fresh picked veggies they take home, nothing like fresh veggies straight from the farm! Vegetables available for sale include broccoli, lettuce, spinach and tomatoes.

There is a large tree swing, hay bale stack for the small and big kids to climb and shaded area for picnics.

Spa Country Sunflowers is a laid back and budget-friendly option to immerse yourself in sunflowers.

Prices
Entry $10 per person (15 & under free). Flowers $3 each with daily specials when the blooms are really pumping (typically 10 for $25).

The picking season can vary, so check the Spa Country Sunflowers' Facebook page for the latest details about opening times.

Open from the weekend of 28/2/26 for about 4-5 weekends, 10am to 4pm.

Sunset sessions are planned for the Labour Day long weekend (7th to 9th March) and weekend of 14th/15th March with exact times to be announced on socials. There may be additional sunset sessions later in March.
