Bicentennial Park Playground, Lakeside Avenue, Mount Beauty
A wonderful playground, mainly under shade sails, on the shoreline of a picturesque lake with lots of elements, especially for younger kids.
One highlight is a big metal slide with a set of steps in a tunnel to get to the top of the slide surrounded by a big metal climbing frame.
The main structure has a train shaped section with tunnels and a scrambling wall which leads to a train engine, ramp access, shop front, curved slide, fireman's pole, ladder, tic-tac-toe, walkway, chain ladder, spiral ladder, spiral slide, steps, flying fox and log roll.
There is also a super cute train engine, play structure with steps, slide, tunnel and ladder, springers, swings, cute fire truck on springs, percussion pipes, spinning disk and "rock creatures"
Birds nest swing and standard swings including one with a harness are under shade sails. On the side is a large sandpit.
Shelter with tables and BBQs, unshaded tables, toilets and water tap. Next to a netball court, skatepark, BMX track and pump track. There is a volleyball court and net beside the lake.
The playground is situated by the lake, off Lakeside Avenue.
