Beulah - Squatter Coffey Bush Trail Rides

Experience Victoria's Mallee on horseback with local horseman Len "Squatter" Coffey. Squatter Coffey Bush Trail Rides offers guided rides through the countryside around Beulah, exploring creeks, rivers, dry lakes and natural bush reserves, with longer experiences able to include Lake Hindmarsh.
The rides combine horse riding with Squatter's local knowledge and stories of the Mallee. Beginners through to experienced riders are welcome, and rides can be tailored to suit the experience and interests of participants. The current Yarriambiack tourism brochure describes the rides as suitable for all ages and abilities.
Squatter has spent much of his life around horses, including training racehorses for around 20 years. After retiring from 50 years working in the Mallee grain industry, he has devoted more time to taking locals and visitors on bush trail rides. His connection with the district is also celebrated on the Rosebery silo, where artist Kaff-eine depicted Squatter with his horse Morton.
