Bentleigh Bowling Club
Bentleigh Bowling Club is your community gathering place for the most enjoyable lawn bowls experience imaginable. Our purpose is to be a respected and competitive lawn bowls club that also provides members and guests with a fun, safe and social off-green environment.
Located adjacent to Bentleigh Reserve in Higgins Road, the Club offers a relaxing environment away from traffic noise and the hustle and bustle of city life. The club has 3 greens (2 grass and 1 synthetic).
Pennant Teams
Bentleigh Bowling Club has enjoyed great success over recent years and currently has 5 sides on Saturday from Div 2 to Div 7. There are 3 sides participating in mid-week pennant (Tuesdays). We also played 2 sides in the new shorter format 7-a-side competition on Thursday mornings. We field 3 sides in the Tuesday night Southern Districts Electric Light competition in divisions 1, 2 and 4.
Expert Coaching
Our club coaches are available to provide expert guidance to beginners and seasoned bowlers. The coaching team are keen to assist new and experienced bowlers to be their best.
Special Events
We have a keen Social Committee who are always looking for ways to keep us entertained when not bowling. We have a program of social events held throughout the year, not just the bowls season. Thursday nights are not just for training during summer, so we're open every Thursday evening year round for members to socialise.
Starting Out
A great way to start out at Bentleigh Bowling Club is to join as a Social Playing Member where you will have full access to the greens and coaching staff to get you off on the right track. When you're ready, we'd love to see you progress to competitive pennant bowls and Full Membership.
Barefoot Bowls
Barefoot Bowls is only $15 per person for 2 hours which includes green fees, equipment, and a quick overview of bowls if required and is a great way to get together with your friends or colleagues for a social game or celebration.
