Located in the Gardiner's Creek Reserve in the suburb of Burwood, Bennettswood Bowls Club is a beloved classic lawn bowling club with two greens and a touch of new-era fun!

From Barefoot Bowls, to hosted functions in our large clubhouse, the "Wood" is for the whole family, young and old.

Barefoot Bowls
Our two real grass greens provide some of the best barefoot bowling Melbourne has to offer. Let us help make your barefoot bowling a great occasion.

Adults are $10 per head and kids are $5 per head (double if you have two heads).

Bennettswood can assist with corporate barefoot bowling events. There's no better way to get quality time with your clients than a roll on our beautiful greens, finishing off with a drink and a bite to eat. It's the perfect way to liaise with your customers or your staff - and to enhance relationships.

Whether you're looking to entertain half a dozen guests or a hundred, Bennettswood provides an exciting and comfortable venue. There's a large, well-equipped kitchen you can hire and plenty of seating to entertain 40 to 150 guests. You can provide catering yourself, but catering options are always available.

Gals on the Green Program
Two Sunday afternoons will be devoted to attracting women to take up the game of bowls. A professional female coach from Bowls Australia will be on hand, ready to help newcomers make a great start.

Following an afternoon on the green, everyone will retire to the clubhouse, where our gals will be provided with tempting food and drinks. Those who decide to join the club will be presented with a significant discount on their first-year subscriptions.

Private Functions
Looking for a venue which can take 100 to 150 people? Or do you need a small, intimate area instead?
Bennettswood's clubhouse can comfortably seat up to 150 people. On the other hand the cosy lounge will accommodate 10 to 30 guests. A large, well-equipped kitchen is always available for hire.
