Eaglehawk Detecting Workshop
Go out on the goldfields with an experienced prospector who will guide & show you how to use a metal detector during your search for gold. Any gold you find is yours. This Detecting Workshop involves 2 hours on the Eaglehawk goldfields near Bendigo. there is a short history lesson, geology lesson and what indicators to look for when finding gold and much more. the rest of the workshop is on a Minelab detector of your choice or you can bring your own. (Minelab GPX, SDC or Gold Monster) You are welcome to bring a friend or relative to join in at no extra cost.
Whipstick Workshop & Tour
Take a 4 hour guided workshop & tour of the Whipstick Goldfields in my Holden twin cab or follow along in your own vehicle detecting along the way with a Minelab of your choice. The tour starts off with a Detecting Workshop @ Lightning Hill then we continue on to Feeley's Reef, Old Toms Reef, Flagstaff Reef and Lookout, Crystal Reef, Sandfly Reef, Christoffs & Wallace's Reef, site of Monagetti's Wine Bar. The tour ends @ Notley's Park Camping Ground then we head back to Eaglehawk.
Kangaroo Flat Detecting Workshop
Go out on the goldfields with an experienced prospector who will guide & show you how to use a metal detector during your search for gold. Any gold you find is yours. This Detecting Workshop involves 2 hours on the Kangaroo Flat goldfields near Bendigo. there is a short history lesson, geology lesson & what indicators to look for when finding gold and much more. the rest of the workshop is on a Minelab detector of your choice or you can bring your own. (Minelab GPX SDC or Gold Monster) Workshops are 100$ per detector and your welcome to bring a relative or friend to join in at no extra charge.
Kangaroo Flat Detecting Workshop & Tour
Same as Kangaroo Flat Detecting Workshop but with more goldfields to visit and detect.
Black Rock Workshop and Tour
Take a 4hr guided workshop and tour of the magnificent Black Rock Goldfields in my Holden twin cab or u can follow me in your own vehicle. Our first stop is at Lightning Hill for the workshop and short geology lesson. We visit Goat Reef to learn about your detector settings then u can detect for gold confidently. we then continue on to Black Rock for a short break on the Rock then continue on too the Never can tell Reef. the tour concludes at Notleys Park on the edge of the Whipstick then we return back to Eaglehawk.
Kamarooka Tour & Detecting Workshop
Take a 4hr guided historic tour of the Kamarooka Goldfields in the comfort of my Holden twin cab or drive your own car and detect along the way using a Minelab of your choice. The Kamarooka Goldfields Tour includes a visit to a well preserved puddler, Rush Dam & Alluvial Workings then a Detecting Workshop @ Kamarooka Goldfields with brief tour of the workings and shafts on Doubtful Reef. We continue on to the forgotten Whoop Whoop Reef. The Kamarooka Goldfields Tour will start and end at Eaglehawk. Please bring along a hat, your lunch and a drink.
Golden Ticket Workshop
Book your family, friends or relatives in for that special occasion and surprise them with a Golden Ticket or Gift Voucher for a 2 hour Detecting Workshop. You can even pick the area you would like to detect @ on the Bendigo, Eaglehawk or Kangaroo Flat Goldfields.
Gold Finger Historic Tour. Victoria Hill
Take a 2hr personalized guided tour with myself and local Historian Darren Wright. The tour focuses on the Bendigo Goldfields, buildings and historic landmarks from the comfort of my vehicle or small bus. The Bendigo Goldfields Tour includes Victoria Hill Diggings, Ballerstedt's Open-Cut Mine, The Quartz King George Lansells 180 Mine, Victoria Quartz Co Mine (once boasted the world's deepest shaft - 4,478 feet 1,365 metres) Micky Mouse Hill, The Chinese Joss House, The last remaining gas works in Australia and much more. Minimum of 3 customers per tour. (walking involved).
