Belmont Croquet Club

Belmont Croquet Club is a friendly community club located at Francis Street Reserve in Belmont, Geelong. The club welcomes people interested in learning croquet, enjoying a social game or participating in competitions.

The club offers three forms of croquet:
  • Golf Croquet - A relatively easy-to-learn version of the sport, making it particularly suitable for beginners.
  • Association Croquet - A traditional and more tactical form of croquet involving careful planning and skill.
  • Ricochet Croquet - A variation of croquet combining elements of different playing styles.
Belmont Croquet Club has a long history dating back to 1906, when it began as part of the Belmont Recreation Club beside the Barwon River. The clubhouse was relocated to Francis Street Reserve in 1985.

Beginners aged 10 and over are welcome. The club offers introductory visits with guidance from experienced members, and playing equipment is provided for newcomers.
