Belmont Common North Dog Off Leash Area (Belmont)



Belmont Common North is a sporting reserve which has a criterion track, Barwon Valley Activity Centre and playground.

The Belmont Common is a large area set alongside the Barwon River for recreational pursuits. The reserve is used for passive and active recreation and features three ovals with hard wickets and cricket practice nets. The reserve has been developed for junior football and women's cricket.

Geelong Women's Cricket Club and Newtown and Chilwell Cricket Club use the facilities here.

Note: Sporting grounds and ovals in the Greater Geelong area can be used for dog off leash activities outside of regular sport or training times.
