Bells Beach - Addiscot Beach

Addiscot Beach is a spectacular 1.8 km long sandy beach extending from Point Addis towards Jarosite Headland. Surrounded by high red, orange and ochre-coloured cliffs, the beach forms part of the rugged coastline between Bells Beach and Anglesea.

The beach is reached from the Point Addis Day Visitor Area. The signed walking track to Addiscot Beach is Grade 3 and approximately 700m one way, with well-formed sections, steep sections and steps. Steps near the Point Addis lookout descend towards the southern end of the beach.

Addiscot Beach curves around beneath impressive cliffs which rise from around 20 metres near Point Addis to approximately 80 metres towards Jarosite Headland. The beach receives ocean swell and is popular with surfers. The smaller wave breaks along Addiscot Beach are also used by local surf schools.
