Beechworth - Last St Brewery

Beechworth - Last St Brewery

Last St Brewery is a historic working brewery, distillery and beverage factory in Beechworth where visitors can explore more than 150 years of local brewing history, join a guided behind-the-scenes tour, sample traditional cordials and other drinks, browse the shop or enjoy a meal.

The brewery's history dates back to 1865. In 1872, George and Isabella Billson began constructing the distinctive tower brewery on Last Street, choosing the location because of the natural alpine spring beneath the property. The same spring continues to supply water to the brewery today.

The historic complex has been extensively restored and is once again a working production site making beer, spirits, cordials, syrups, sodas and other beverages.

Visitors can drop into the tasting room where complimentary tastings are available from a large range of traditional cordials and other products. Alcoholic tastings are restricted to adults aged 18 years and over.

There is also a family-friendly restaurant and taproom, beer garden and retail shop.
