Beechworth - Indigo Epic Trail

The Indigo Epic Trail connects the historic towns of Beechworth and Yackandandah.
Built to an intermediate blue rating, the Indigo Epic trail is packed full of features and runs through some of the most spectacular scenery in Victoria’s High Country.
Constructed as a figure-of-eight or helix loop shape, means you can ride the whole trail, or just the Beechworth or Yackandandah loops separately.
The Yackandandah loop is the longest and is about 39km back to town. The small loop, which is the Beechworth loop, is approximately 17km. The full loop is an all-day ride at 56km and takes you to both Yackandandah and Beechworth and can be started at either town.
The trail is open year-round meaning you can plan your trip to Indigo Shire whenever you like.
Please note that the Indigo Epic trail is strictly for mountain biking only - it is not suitable for walkers, runners, horse riders or motorbike riders.
