Bealiba - Mount Bealiba

Mount Bealiba is a scenic lookout in the forested ranges near Bealiba, with panoramic views across the surrounding forests, farmland and distant hills.
The summit is characterised by large rocky outcrops, fallen logs and gnarled trees, creating an interesting area to explore as well as a good vantage point for enjoying the surrounding countryside.
Access to the summit is from G1 Track, which is signposted as Sheep Yard Track. From G1 Track, a steep and uneven gravel track climbs to the top of Mount Bealiba.
Access: 4WD vehicles only on the steep summit access track
Walking time: Approximately 20-30 minutes uphill from G1 Track
Activities: Bushwalking, scenic views and photography
Visitors without a suitable 4WD can park safely beside G1 Track and walk up the access track to the summit. The climb takes approximately 20-30 minutes, with the downhill return considerably quicker.
Take time at the summit to explore the rocky outcrops and enjoy views over the surrounding mountains, forests and agricultural land.
Safety:
The summit has uneven ground, trip hazards and some steep drops. Children should be closely supervised.
The access road from G1 Track is very steep and uneven and is suitable for 4WD vehicles only. Do not attempt to reach the summit in an unsuitable vehicle.
Surrounding farmland is private property. Remain on public tracks and do not cross fences onto private land.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash or under immediate control.
