Ballarat - The Old Butchers Shop Gallery

The Old Butchers Shop Gallery is a small not-for-profit art gallery housed in a beautifully preserved former corner butcher's shop in Soldiers Hill, just north of central Ballarat. The gallery showcases a rotating program of exhibitions featuring both emerging and established artists, with a strong focus on local and regional creative talent.

The building itself is part of the attraction, retaining many of its original heritage features including decorative tiles, pressed metal ceilings, weatherboard walls and historic shop signage.
