Ballarat Lawn Tennis Club (Wendouree)

The Ballarat Lawn Tennis Club is one of Ballarat's oldest sporting clubs, with a history dating back to the early days of lawn tennis in the city. Since 2013 the club has been based at the modern Prince of Wales Park sporting precinct, where it offers excellent facilities for players of all ages and abilities.

The club features eight artificial grass courts, coaching programs, social tennis, junior development, competition teams and regular club events. Visitors and new members are welcome, making it a great place for families, beginners and experienced players alike.

Visitors can hire courts, even if they are not members. The club has an online booking system for casual court hire.

Ballarat Lawn Tennis Club has played an important role in the city's sporting history for more than a century. Originally located in Tennis Street, the club later moved to the Ballarat Golf Club before establishing its current home at Prince of Wales Park. Throughout its history it has produced many talented players and remains one of Ballarat's premier tennis clubs.
