Badgers Brook Estate Winery (Coldstream)

Badgers Brook Wines specialise in Yarra Valley, estate grown, low yielding, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz varieties. France cuisine can be combined with wine at the Tramonto Kitchen & Bar. A wine tasting introduction is available for a small fee.

Review:

We'll leave it to you to judge the wine, food and service but the playground for the kids is pretty amazing. Note: We dropped by in April 2026 for a return visit and some of the playground items had been moved around and others had been removed entirely, probably to make the area more safe and away from the car park.

It includes:

A line of ONE HUNDRED swings with many different types including an aeroplane, galleon, tyre swing and seat swing (there are less swings now)
Play structure within a huge ball pit (under a roof)
Zoo full of animal seats (camel, zebra, cow, panda, dinosaur, seal, giraffe)
Massive castle play structure with six slides
Large spinning tops
Vertical board to make "impressions" with
13 trampolines
Deep ball pit

Children need to be supervised because some of the attractions are within the car park and the remainder are on the edge of the car park.
