Armadale Bowls Club (Caulfield South)

Armadale Bowls Club located in the sports' precinct of Princes Park, Caulfield South. We are steeped in history having celebrated our 130 years milestone in 2018. There are two very well-maintained greens, one grass and one synthetic. Both greens are equipped with floodlights to facilitate club organised night play.

We are a strong club of nearly 250 members, participating in competitive and/or social bowls. We play both Midweek (Tuesday) and Weekend (Saturday) pennant from October to March. Social games are played on Wednesday afternoons throughout the year.

Bowls is a game like no other. We have members ranging in age from mid-20's to mid-90's. Bowls caters for players of any level of sporting background and prowess and for those who have not played sport at all. It is an individual and a team sport catering for players of all abilities. We are a social club both on and off the green.

Our modern clubhouse has a bar which is open during all competitive and social matches. Our clubhouse is also available to hire for both private and corporate events and functions and can accommodate up to 180 guests.

We are also available to host your social or corporate barefoot bowls events.

Not sure whether bowls is for you? Just come along and have some fun any Sunday morning from 10.00 - 12.00. Our friendly coaches will be there to introduce you to the game. Bowls are provided for learners.

Barefoot Bowls
Kick off your shoes and enjoy a fun social game of barefoot bowls. We welcome small groups at most times, and you can book rinks for a larger party or corporate bowls function.

Barefoot bowling is available 7 days per week, and we provide the bowls, and the basic bowls coaching you need to have a fun day or evening on the grass or our carpet.

There is plenty of seating around the rinks with ample cold water supplied for your consumption or some of your guests make like to sit in our under-cover patio area relaxing having a drink from our well stocked bar.

Never played barefoot bowls before? No problem! Lawn bowls is easy to learn and you will get the hang of it very quickly after a short, free lesson from our friendly staff. All equipment will be supplied by the Club.

Whether you are celebrating a birthday, baby shower or engagement we have the facilities to cater for your next barefoot bowls party. Our multi-purpose venue can host a variety of events from corporate workshops, staff parties, bucks / hens days as well as family-friendly celebrations.

The Club will occasionally run fun barefoot bowling days where you can just turn up. They are free and the BBQ will be great.
