Alira Park Playground, Somme Crescent, Berwick
Colourful playground which has a tower with levels up to the entrance of a tightly twisting tunnel slide. The sides of the tower have a climbing wall, small wave slide, tunnel, vertical, rope net leading to a metal flying fox, scrambling wall and rope bridge leading down to a little platform with ramp, abacus, slide and curved monkey bars.
Along a soft path is a bird nest swing, speak and listen system with flower which has a spinning head, 'Find the pairs' game, '3 in a row' game and spinning cylinders to make sounds. Also a frog springer, spinning disk and four swings. They are soft paths to all the equipment.
Shelter with three tables and BBQs plus unshaded table and seats. At the top of the hill is a basketball/netball court and grassy area. The playground is next to a deep wetlands area.
