Akoonah Park Dog Off Leash Area (Berwick)

A massive area with big grassy areas that is bordered by Cardinia Creek on the east side. Along the creek there are a few small beaches which provide swimming opportunities for dogs. There are water taps and bins at various places throughout the park.
The length of the off-leash area is about 700m. Casual dog walkers are not allowed in the camping area. There is a walkway and two bridges to cross to an on-leash area at the northern end.
