Westernport Tennis Club (Newhaven)
Westernport Tennis Club is based in San Remo, the gateway to beautiful Phillip Island. The club was established in 1997 after the amalgamation of the San Remo Tennis Club and Newhaven Tennis Club. We currently host around 120 members and provide opportunities for both social and competitive players. New members are always welcome and our club coach is available for lessons for all ages and abilities.
The club has facilities in two locations:
San Remo Courts - Wynne Road, San Remo (San Remo Newsagent on the corner of Wynne Road & Marine Parade). San Remo has 4 synthetic grass courts with lights. We have use of the San Remo Recreation Centre facilities including the meeting room, kitchen, barbeque and toilet/shower facilities.
Newhaven Courts - Boys Home Road, Newhaven, adjacent to the PI Soccer Club ground. (Westernport Water on the corner of Boys Home Road & PI Main Road). Newhaven has 4 hard courts.
There are Mens and Ladies Twilight competitions, kids Saturday summer competitions and tennis coaching is available with the Club coach.

Competition
Ladies Competitions includes an Autumn Competition (approx May to September) and Summer Twilight Competition (approx October to March)
Mens Competitions includes an Autumn Competition (approx May to August) and Summer Twilight Competition (approx October to March)
Junior Competitions includes Korrine & District Tennis Association Saturday Morning Competition (the Saturday morning competition begins in October each year and runs through until March the following year. This competition is fantastic for all age groups, offering tennis from Section 5 right through to Junior Pennant. It's a positive experience for all participants. It encourages not only team work but also personal growth along the way) and Summer Competition (Starts in October and runs through until March next year)
Court Hire
Courts are available for hire by non-members.
