Victorian Ballet School (Mount Waverley)
We invite all children to learn to dance in a safe environment by highly trained teachers. We cater for students who wish to participate in dance recreationally or who wish to pursue dance as a profession.
Our Junior School program is an introduction to ballet through learning fundamental movement and introduces music, space, and creativity while developing individual physical and mental growth in a fun and energetic environment. Our Senior School students are encouraged to do more than one ballet class a week in order to further develop their classical ballet technique. We also encourage students to broaden their appreciation of all dance forms by learning other dance styles and the benefits they bring to mind, body awareness, coordination, strength, poise, breathing, musicality and ultimately - performance.
With studios in Mt Waverley, Balwyn, Rowville, Box Hill and Oakleigh the Victorian Ballet School has participated in the development of dance since its inception over 40 years ago.
Based at Mt Waverley North Primary School, Josephine Avenue, Mt Waverley and Syndal South Primary School, Montgomery Avenue, Mt Waverley.
