Two Shoes Dance Academy is an international performing arts institute with locations in both the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and in Nagoya Japan.

Two Shoes Dance Academy is a boutique dance school where everybody is welcomed warmly into our performing arts community. We offer high quality instruction within small class sizes so that students receive the individual attention and nurturing they require to reach their full potential. Our school's philosophy emphasises learning at a comfortable pace to build strong foundations of knowledge and practice.

The discipline of dance has many positive and wonderful benefits; it offers skills which can be taken into student's everyday lives. And the outcomes attained are truly remarkable. We offer excellence in dance - In 2016, all Two Shoes Dance Academy students who sat for their external exams passed with Distinctions. We also have a fantastic track record at local competitions including first places at CTSD (Commonwealth Teachers Society of Dance), VPAC (Victorian Performing Arts Challenge) and Stage Attack. Two Shoes Dance Academy students have gone on to receive positions in full time dance courses under our tuition and guidance.

Our highly qualified and experienced team are industry lead professionals and offer expert tuition with a focus on outstanding technique. Classes taught at Two Shoes Dance Academy follow a curriculum which has been thoroughly constructed by studio director, VCASS alumni Caroline White. Much consideration has been taken for student and teacher interaction and development.

Throughout the dancing year, our students enjoy regular stage and performance experience with two productions. A mid year cabaret showcase in June and an end of year production in November. Participating in our performance seasons is not compulsory, though it is highly recommended. It is always a joyous occasion for a dancer to be able to perform for their family and friends. Participating in performances allows students to develop their technique, artistry and performance skills whilst learning new movement vocabulary and building self-confidence. And after all, dance and acro are performing arts!

Each year, we also hold multiple social events for our students, including movie nights and disco parties! We feel it's important for our children to have the opportunity to socialise outside of the classroom setting, forming even stronger bonds with their teachers and peers.

The following styles are available at our studio - Southern Federation of Dance ballet, jazz and tap syllabus, Musical theatre, hip hop, acro, contemporary, body conditioning, pointe work, cheerleading, singing and private tuition.

Two Shoes Dance Academy also offers costume hire and incursions for schools, children's birthday parties and hall hire from our Ascot Vale studio.

A Two Shoes Dance Academy birthday party includes invitations for the guests, exclusive disco room with 2 party hosts for 1.5hrs with glow sticks on arrival, themed decorations, games and dancing plus free dance class passes for the birthday child and their guests.
