Tintaldra Store and Tea Rooms

Tintaldra Store and Tea Rooms, established in 1864, is an authentic early Australian store preserved as a museum and tea rooms.

Built of natural materials available in the area at the time (such as River Red Gum and Stringy Bark) the store is a living history taking visitors back in time. Dinkum Aussie tucker is served on enamel plates in the licensed dining room where you will be entertained with Bush Poetry and Bush Music. Owner/operator is a nationally acclaimed bush poet who will offer a rendition of one of her poems on request. Other meals are available, with Devonshire Tea a very popular choice.

The Museum Section has a 150 year old Organ as well as other artefacts of the era including a wood-fired bakery.

The views from the property across the Murray River and into NSW are second to none.
