Portsea Life Saving Club


Patrolled weekends Nov to Easter & every day from Xmas to the end of January, strong rips, parking, toilets, shower, hard access/steps. Great views from observation carpark. Walk along beach west to London Bridge (Farnsworth track)

Sorrento


Sorrento Back Beach: Patrolled weekend Nov to Easter and every day from Xmas to the end of Jan. Drive to the end of Ocean Beach Rd - 1.5km from town centre, carparking, paths and timber ramp access. Coppins Lookout, kiosk, toilets, shower, BBQ, tables. Low tide: great rock pool for swimming
Diamond Bay Rd Beach: Protected swimming beach, not patrolled, spectacular views, steps, sandy track
Koonya Beach: Hughes Rd, not patrolled, car park, toilets, spectacular views, steps, sandy track

Blairgowrie


Bridgewater Bay: Spectacular views, rockpools, steps and sandy track to beach, not patrolled

Rye / St Andrews Beach


Rye Back Beach: past Dundas St shops, carpark, toilets, turn right & follow beach signs. Great views, no facilities, carpark, sandy tracks to beach
Number 16 Beach: Access off Tasman Dve opposite general store, not patrolled, Dragons Head and Lizard Rock great for photographers

Gunnamatta - End of Truemans Road


Patrolled every day Xmas to the end of Jan., weekends Dec. to Easter, shower, toilets, sandy tracks to beach
