Saxon Sports Frankston is a family run business that we have owned and managed since 2007. The owners, took over the business whilst looking for a cricket based training facility in the region.
Chris Hall, a former County Cricketer with Lancashire CCC in England, manages and runs the centre on the families behalf. Chris, as a Cricket Australia Level III Coach, conducts hundreds of coaching sessions and clinics a year within the centre as well continuing to play at the highest level of cricket in Victoria, for Casey South Melbourne CC in the Victorian Premier Cricket competition.
The combined business experience and cricketing knowledge of our staff makes Saxon Sports a place where every cricketer will be made to feel welcome and at home.
As well as the family passion for cricket, the love of soccer (football) attracted us to the business and with the competition management skills of Nathan Baron, our centre runs indoor soccer competitions every night of the week for men, ladies and juniors, with an array of grades to suit everyone from social player to the dedicated player.
Our Cricket Store & online Cricket iShop has an extensive range of equipment from the World's Leading Cricket Brands. We hand select all of our bats to meet the desired weights and grain requirements of our customers. The cricketing knowledge of our staff means that we can ensure that our customers are purchasing the correct piece of equipment for their needs, ability and budget.
Our cricket coaching team boasts some of the best in the business. We have 3 Cricket Australia Level 3 Coaches that conduct sessions within the centre as well as highly experienced Level 2 & 1 Coaches.
