The Pony Club oval and the Cricket Club oval are dog off-leash when sporting events are not in progress.
Dogs are prohibited from the nearby Woodend Grassland Reserve.
The cricket oval, which is fenced with a few gaps, is large and in good condition. The demand by pony riders for perfect grass is less than by cricketers, but even so, the large grassy Pony Club area is in good condition.

There is a bin, water tap with bowl and toilets near the sports pavilion.
